Emberlit Stove

Man, I'm glad the stoves have arrived in good order. yeah, I have about 75 of those adaptor kits. I just have to cut the center notch on each one. I originally thought just one cross beam would be enough. Then I handed it to my wife and realized that I needed two. I'm going to get a bandsaw with a metal cutting blade and see if that does the trick.

Also, I do believe I have sourced a bag for the stove. It's been staring me in the face all this time. A little company that is local as well. I knew they made ponchos and and other gear, but I hadn't realized that they specialize in carry bags. He had already made one up for his emberlit. I saw it and thought it was perfect and asked for 500 more. He's working on the bid, but I may have a nice carry option for you guys within a couple weeks. I love networking with other local small businesses.

haha, I love getting the "logo is on the wrong side" emails.

Mikhail, have you come up with a price on the adaptor kits yet?

Also, I would be interested in one of the carry bags as well. The plastic bag works fine, but a complete "package" is appealing. Thanks man.

Let us know when the bags are available.

I would be real tempted to use a table saw and do a whole bunch in one pass. It would be easier to set the cut depth if you could get a blade the right width.

Cool. I have been looking at the heavy vinyl cases used for whitewater kayaks, canoes and rafts.

You did that on purpose didn't you?! :D

Um, I'm not entirely sure what the price of the adaptors will be, they'll be fairly inexpensive. I may sell them at cost for this first bunch considering I have to finish the pieces myself. Figure about $5-ish, plus another 2$ for S$H. They are so light I can send them in an envelope.

can I paypal you now? :)
Also, maybe you wanna include them in the purchase of new stoves..
just add the cost in there. No need to make it an option.

sooon. very soon. I'm waiting for the bid on the bags, and I ordered a band saw to finish these part.

are the supports going to be ti and stainless
to match the stove material,or all of them stainless?

both. right now all I have are Ti, but as soon as I get them sorted out I'll put in an order for the stainless adaptors. Right now I have them busy cutting TI stoves.

HEY
get in the back of the line!
right in front of codger_65 :D

The first limited edition hand made sprint run will only be available to Emberlit users who actually build fires in their stoves. Battery powered candles don't count. Oink.

Heh. The early adopters will be served first! Out of respect for our pioneering purchasing prowess, of course. :P

Somehow I've looked right over this thread for 4 months! Better late than never, I guess.
