Emerson Sheepdog

Good evening folks! Does anyone know the exact length of the blade and handle specs? I know there almost the same as a cqc 7. Thx!!!

Please let us know how big the blade is. I am very interested in one, but I dislike small blades. Anything under 3.75

In the shot show vid Mr. E says it is similar in size to the 7 so it most likely is nowhere near your minimum. Probably worth grabbing one anyway, Emersons first flipper AND on bearings!

Here's mine. The detent is a little weak being that I'm used to ZT flippers. Bearings are nice. A recess was cut into the liners to make the space needed for the bearings but not the blade. Fit an finish is great. The blade is 3.45" with the handle at 4.8" (8.25" OAL opened). Pictured with a CQC-7AW and a CQC-45.

Sorry, should be there now. Feels pretty good inhand but not sure you'll like that OM. The handle does have the bell shape that you're not too fond of. Pocket shredding G10 as expected. The Bowie blade is nice, kind of like the 13 but smaller.

Thanks for the pic!

Just a update playing with the knife. Feels good and flips great. You can use the flipper like a light switch or do the push button style. Lockbar is starting to stick a little but that's not a bad thing. Will have to get a spearpoint one when I have funds.

I have always hated flipper designs, but that is definitely a good looking knife.

That is by far my favorite Emerson handle design. I love that shape in the hand, my CQC-11's & my Patriot's are my all time favorite Emersons & they both have a similar grip design.

I wasn't really feeling this knife at all until I saw the Spear point version. Usually I'd lean more towards the bowie blade, but on this knife I think it looks kinda funky.
