Emerson Tiger

I got myself the whole set. I gotta get around to taking a group picture. What an awesome knife.
 
Ordered on Sunday, got it on Tuesday. :D

Fantastic knife. but I want to point out that these signature knives are a little special and have a hand picked feel to them. Blade is perfectly centered, lock is exactly where I like it. 100% on the lock face, no more, no less. It is the smoothest new Emerson I have ever felt....like butter. The grind is probably one of the best three "factory" grinds I have ever seen. Perfect from tip to choil. Fits perfectly in my hand.

Anyhow...sorry for the poor pic....but here is #0066.

Is it odd that you just received #66 and i got #84 like 2 weeks ago?
 
Reginaldo, I would say no. The Tiger was suppose to be produced in only one run of @120 pieces under the Limited Run Series. Much to my surprise along with a few other folks, a 2nd batch under the Signature Series was made available earlier this year but sales on that (estimated @100 pieces) was much slower selling than the 1st batch. 1st batch sold out in a couple weeks where the 2nd batch was in stock for 6 months finally selling out in mid August. I believe the last one they had was sold to me.

Well Rev...you were active in this corner while all the chatter about the Tigers started and through to when the 2nd batch was announced. Why didn't you get one? Sure, the 1st batch sold out. All the folks cried for more. EKI answered with a entire 2nd batch in SF and BT @March and well...they sat around.
