Endura / Delica - full flat FRN - need input

from an older guy like me, the digital cammo designs look cool. green, grey, tan or blue. If you want a younger market than the brighter and bolder colors.
another option to cover all ages is to use FRN grip designs like the centefonte

Multi-cam :D

I'll also second (or third) translucent colors or my favorite color, clear.

A translucent green would look nice, IMO.

I've been waiting for a FFG FRN Endura. If this receives a lot of demand, will the FFG go into the new Delica/Endura 5?

Has anyone mentioned TEAL yet?
What about YELLOW? (Or is it to Salt-ish?)
How about crimson RED?
Or a model in forest GREEN?

Hope this goes down well with the general public =)

If you could come up with a yellow/black combo handle that would be very cool.

That would also look fantastic. Toxic Green and Purple.. Joker Style. Sign me up for one! I also take a Red and Blue one and a Red and White one while we're at it. Great idea! Orange and White Creamscicle model with a black blade oooooooooh.

Green/Purple
Red/Blue
Red/Black
Black/Green

Those are my votes. Thanks to Tony for the inspiration.

ORANGE (was that loud enough :) )

Its not just for emergency tools, its so you can see it better after it jumps ship during a mtn bike ride on a rough trail (which is not what happened to my Salt I ).

Orange Griptilian, orange Tyrade, orange OD-1 I've heard, orange Urban, orange Military... None of those are "emergency tools," at least I don't think.

Those are all knives. I know what you mean, but I said "tools", knives included. Orange handled axes, hammers, seatbelt cutters, glass breakers, vests, hardhats, heck even gloves are orange for emergency gear these days.

Personally I like orange on a knife. I have an orange ladybug on me right now. I just think it seems wrong on a FFG D4/E4.

  • Bright Blue
  • Bright Green (Toxic)
  • Mixed & paint splattered in color (like a Jackson Pollock painting)

Thanks for asking.

Can they do translucent colors or checkered patterns like camo?

I thought FRN used a dye:confused:

Hey Sal, would the blade on the new endura be identical to the one on the current FFG Foliage green G-10 Endura?

It seems that a thicker stock, or at least a more robust tip would be desired by everyone here.

It wouldn't be a make-or-break for me, I'd still buy half a dozen for myself when the FRN's come out :D

Octane Green

Cobalt Blue

Cobalt_Blue_Pigment.jpg

I'd like to see a BLUE-blue, a real blue, different from the "gray" blue on the Emerson models.

I'd be in for a cobalt blue or a navy blue FRN FFG Endura - probably would sell better than the brighter colors( prod.) but for a test run hmm...

I'm very partial to Blue,
Mike

Another vote for Cobalt Blue!

......blue ( like on the Rescue ), Toxic Green, Orange, and sand/tan would be my vote.

- regards

In no particular order......
Yellow
Orange
Blue
Tan
Camo

FFG endura, I don't care what color it is, you make it FFG and with FRN handles and I'll be happy with 2 or 3 of those :D I'd say that Forest Green, Orange, and Blue would be your best bet for selling these to both spydie knuts as well as the general public.

I am super stoked for a FFG FRN Delica and Endura! As far as colors I am partial to the bright cobalt blue and toxic green that some have suggested. However, I know many don't like the super bright colors so maybe you could do a couple earthy tones like desert tan or OD green in addition to a couple bright colored models.

1) Blue
2) Tan
3) Oxblood
4) Grey

Just my opinion, but to each his own.

Cobalt blue, baby blue, gold and pink are my choices.

Thanks Sal for including the peanut gallery once again.

Cobalt Blue is a great choice, make it pop
Orange is always a crowd favorite.
Maroon might be interesting if you can make it look good.
Lavender :o I think it'd look nice

Blue digicam would look cool!

Bellow an unasked for opinion;-)

I know many people from the general public and new to knives.

From the people I know that are not experts on knives they tend to associate a pronounced grind with sharpness. So for the general public pronounced grind line=sharper knife.

But ironically full flat grind which is the largest possible one is perceived as no grind at all, so people think the knife is dull. I am no expert on knife sales, but I belive the large grind is one of the features that makes the Delica and Endura such good sellers. People see the large sable grind and immediately associate it on their minds: "Samurai sword sharp!"
