ALL ABOARD THE BLUUUE TRAIN!

:D:D:D

Nice work adding up all the blue tallies lol

Altough I'm not a D/E4 fan, this is a great idea. I like the FFG blade - black, graphite gray or dark blue handle would be great.

Will there be a waved version? :D

Also a finger choil with jimping on both sides on the Endura. Gary

I've always admired all the foilage green models! I think that coyote tan and orange would be popular options!

That one is called the Stretch 2 FRN! Seriously tough, I doubt a change in the molds and tooling is feasible when you can getthe features you just asked for in an existing model.

Sal,

Let me chime in on the side of a translucent handle scale - if thats possible to do with FRN.

Except for Emergency/Rescue knives, I'm not a fan of bright colored handle scales. However I have the idea that a translucent handle in almost any color would work for me and others who might not reach for a bright or "odd" color in the display case or online catalog. I really like the the tranlucent G-10 handle on the Kevin Wilkins Leafstorm, and while that is subdued color, it seems to me that translucency would tone down the brightness a little while still leaving plenty of color for those who want color. Perhaps you could even do a multi color rainbow or swirl or wavy design handle.

For straight color choices I like sage green or burgundy.

Thanks for the heads up Mike, I did'nt know the Stretch Frn had that. Hopefully I'll pick one up. Gary

I just did a few searches on Fiberglas Reinforced Nylon and according to what I read (I should've copied the link) it appears that FRN can be produced to be as clear as glass, but the process maybe more technical than how they make the scales at Spyderco. But it can be done. With a hint of blue or purple it would prbably look something close to this side of incredible. I guess Sal can let us know if they can do it.

Like most others have said, bright blue would be a good choice. A darker purple would be one of my favorites as well. I think there are enough tactical looking models available...
YMMV

Just wanted to bump this back to Page 1... Sorry if that's not accepted around here lol. Thanks for recognizing the customers' requests Mr. Glesser!

In my humble opinion to maintain something that hasn't been done in the Endura and Delica and still acceptable for the general public and still maintain sales?

It has to be

Orange (seems to be the color of the month these days, might as well jump on board with the most popular Spydies)
Gray/Silver (a lighter diversion from tactiblack)
Desert Tan (like it or not, our current wars are a huge influence to today's culture, but a camo or digi would be a bit overkill for civilian life)

These three would appeal with the FFG, set them memorably and recognizably apart, and be safe, easy, and ECONOMICAL from a business standpoint. IMHO.

Blue has been done in the ZDP
Toxic Green for that UNP? one (Spydieguys have got one on EBay right this minute)
Red for the trainer
Yellow in the H1
Pink and white on the Sprints
Foliage Green's been done
Purple not for the general public

Sorry if my viewpoints have been mentioned earlier by someone else. I just jumped to the last page here to eagerly put my two cents in for a awesome concept. FFG rocks! Please consider one for the Rookie as well.

Logical right fellas?

Hey Sal can I have a job?

:jerkit:I know...

but really, can I have a job?

Also, seems the Ladybugs have come in every imaginable color for FRN. Couldn't you judge by the sales based on color, taking into consideration factors such as timing, length offered, etc.

Ahh, thats' my brainpower for the day...back to my beer...

Now how 'bout that job?

Your company's so damn cool!
