Just looking at picking up a griptillian finally and wanted the general opinions of the crowd. I have been a longtime fan of Spyderco with
no regrets, I have carried a few other knives over the last twenty years or so but I always default back to either the Endura or the Delica.
I'm just used to them and they simply work. I have a hard time messing with something if it works. Have been interested in the Grip for years but never got around to buying one. It seems comparable to the Endura for sure, I don't see it being a step up or down in quality it just looks like it might make for a nice change of pace. Thoughts?

I have never owned a Spyderco knife, not that I don't like them, just never bought one. I do own a few Benchmades and love them, the mini grip 556 is just about my favorite knife and sees the most pocket time and use. I don't think you could go wrong with anything from the griptillion line, but some people have gotten dull knives from BM so be prepared to need to sharpen it out of the box. All of mine have been reasonably sharp out of the box, but I re-profile just about every knife I own to get it the way I like it.

I have a Doug Ritter Griptilian and it is one if my favorite edc's.

I've never owned a Griptilian, mini or otherwise, but I do love my Delica! I've got an Endura as well, but I prefer the Delica for EDC...

i havent had an edura but i have had a delica, the delica is a sweet knife but i have had a full size grip and a mini grip about 2 of each they are prob the best edc knives ever made.

I have a few blades, the full size Griptilian being one of them and I usually find myself gravitating towards it for EDC. I don't know why but it seems to be my default EDC. If I don't have that one I usually have the CRKT M21. I have been thinking about getting either the Delica or endura so i'll hold off on voting until then. Hopefully I get one soon.

Both knives are awesome, especially considering the price! Griptilian got my vote, just because it is so comfortable in hand (with the clip removed). Endura/Delica is easier to carry because they're slim and light.

I own/use/love my delica which is just a sorta smaller endura, and I would trash it in a hot minute for a griptillian, i played with one at a gunshow like 2 weeks ago, HOOKED

Endura...but it is purely a personal preference. Nearly every aspect of the knife results in this preference for me (blade shape, lock type, handle texture, handle thickness).

I have a 556 Mini Grip and it is one of my most frequent edcs. It is easy to use and soaks up plenty of hard work. The only Spyderco I ever had was a Native, which was good, but I prefer the Mini Grip by far.

The Griptilian is one of your best EDC choices out there and I would highly recommend it.

I have 5 enduras and a delica, but I just ordered the mini grip in D2 so we will see how I feel about it. I'm confident I'll like it, but I don't think it will ever top any of my 30 spydercos :)

I have both and I prefer the Endura. As smooth as the BM is, it is a bit chunky when compared to the svelte Endura.

As much as i love the endura, I have to give the vote to the griptilian. I love the axis lock, 154-CM, and the blade shape.

I own both, I carried a mini-grip and an Endura together for a long time. I say if you already have an Endura try the Grip. I think you will be happy.

I've owned both and the Grip is a much better knife for the price. Both are great knives, but the Grip or mini Grip wins hands down.

I've got several examples of both. They are both well built knives and I'd think it comes down to personal preference. I choose the Endura due to , for me, better ergonomics, steel I like better ( VG10 ), size and shape of blade, preference for lockbacks, and preference for Full flat grind on this latest model.

The Endura was the first truly modern knife I began carrying back in 92. Before that I'd mostly carry carbon steel knives from companies like Schrade, Camillus ( mostly built under other brands), and Imperial Ireland. Seldom would the knife cost more than $10 to 15 back then. I sure didn't predict the changes in the industry. I sure like it better now though as far as carry knives.
