I've got a few knives that Santa decided the to be owners where not worthy of.

Oh shizzle... those are nice. Love the Yuma Trad....

Nice stump you got there too, you should hang out with The 710 and his rocks.

Is that a proprietary process?

"McShizzle" is the actual trademarked name. As long as you don't use that exact string on your product it's all good. The patent on the process ran out years ago.

Great choice of words. There are a number of us concerned because we bought knives from Greybush a couple of weeks ago, our moneys cleared, but we don't have our knives.
So we haven't gotten what we paid for!!

Great choice of words.

Its funny you mentioned The 710. I imagine he'll be posting a pic of one of my M-18's on those rocks very soon!

No kidding. Sweet set of blades. Can't imagine having the balls (lack of?) to back out on those.

Well thanks, but it happens. You should PM me. I also got stiffed on something you may be VERY interested in!

Dude, those are effing sick. Daaaaaaamn.

Those really are nice pieces, I'd almost feel like I can't own one because my outdoors skills aren't as badass as those knives. Great sense of aesthetics.

Well hell RB don't let that stop ya. Lol! It just means they will be able to take more than you can give em! Lol!

I just figured everybody packs a D cell down there.
Some of us rock the 6v...

Dude, those are GORGEOUS!

Your pictures are making me jealy!

His location didn't carry Benchmade IIRC. I guess it varies by location. He said even the knife companies that make good ones like Kershaw his store usually didn't stock the good models. Maybe he will chime in.

The one in St. Charles, Mo doesn't have any Benchmade, or Kershaw, or Case. Today they had Gerber, Old Timer, and Smith and Wesson.

Got some good work done on my new kukri design today. Alabama Damascus and old growth california redwood burl from Burl Source. I'm really happy with this rendition of my handle design. Balance is about an inch up from the ricasso, so it's got enough forward balance to get a good snap cut, but isn't too far forward to make it unwieldy, in my estimation. B.Mauser, you're welcome to try it when I stop by with your knife.

Also nearly done with gunknifenut's custom.

I gotta tell ya crimson. I'm not real big on the kukri personally. But that thing is freakin beautifull! What's the damascus made from?

Ask and ye shall receive. I'll take better pics when I can get myself some better lighting, maybe tomorrow.

Todd, here's the specs on the damascus:

(4) layers 5160, (3) layers 203E, (3) layers 52100, (3) layers 15N20 folded 5 times for 416 layer damascus.

Thanks for the good words! I'm looking forward to doing some chopping with it and seeing where/if hot spots develop on the handle.

Well it looks real nice. The handle looks fantastic. Looks comfortable. Is it full tang construction? Its hard to tell on my phone.

Thanks, that means a lot coming from an artist like yourself. I still drool over that modded 5 you did...

The handle is indeed comfortable in hand. I've been fine-tuning it for a while now, and am really hoping I've got it tweaked to the point where it will work well for long periods of chopping. But we'll just have to see. Next step is to finish gunknifenut's chopper and B.Mauser's BK911, and a few more swords. Then I can experiment some more...

-edit- Yep, it's full tang. Missed that earlier...
