Well if nobody wants to snark, Ill keep ranting about how awesome my 9 is. I forgot that the sheath had a little slot for the 13 looks like I'm going to have to pick one of them up too now :rolleyes: and I can't decide, when I start to mod it, if I want to lose the thumb ramp or keep it, I know I'm going to strip it in a month or so, after I get some reviewing time in, and then probably end up having my buddy media blast the knife and the scales after I get tired of trying out patinas, then by that time the tweener micarta will be out so Ill grab a (edit)full sized set for the 9 while I'm at it. decisions decisions...

hata to break it to ya wambo -- tweener micarta won't fit the 9, no matter how much your buddy media blasts it.
 
so, psy - you wanna loan me a 7 or 9 for the challenge?
somehow I don't really want to use a 5 or 10 to chop up frozen juniper trees to make a shelter. :D
 
you think if I etched a BKT logo on the side of my 1311 anyone would notice?

Ill make it fit :mad: lol I meant I was going to get a tweener set for the 16 and a full sized set for the 9. but I wonder what it would feel like if you countersunk a 16 into a full sized set of micarta (so it completely envelops the handle)
 
so if you used a 9 to perform the bris, would that be a blackened Becker pecker wrecker?
 
I don't wanna get that close.
if I get nervous and my hand starts to shake...
