Check out this kydex sheath with a snake print pattern leather finish I just made. This sheath came out a little different cause of the hand guard blocking where the thumb push would be, instead you would either use your thumb on the inside part over lapping the back side of hand guard to pull out or use your pointing finger on the outter over lapping the back side of the hand guard

Here is a 360 view of the Kabar sheath I made, I'm planning on making a chocolate brown Kydex with same snake skin pattern print with dark brown stain.

Alright. I'm confused. The kydex has the snakeskin pattern on it. Or you put it on it? Either way. When you heat it how does it hold the pattern. I don't consider myself a talented kydex sheath maker, I have dabelled in it. But I have never seen this. Pretty cool.

I finish the Kydex then wet set leather. I used glue and you can almost not tell where Kydex ends and leather starts. This process takes couple days to make. After the two are set together I stained and finished leather. The straps and belt loop are actually two leather pieces put together and its finished on both sides.

Thanks guys, been working this idea in my head for awhile, the snake skin pattern actually has two pattterns one is the scales and the other is the kinda roundish pattern, I think its callled anaconda snake pattern veg tan, here's a video link I put together real quick,

Well, the collards sucked donkey balls. Unbeknownst to me, the wife followed a new recipe and put a ton of sugar in them.
Inedible. Plain and simple. Where I come from, sugar doesn't touch collards, turnip greens, mustard greens, kale, or any other kind of greens.
Meat/fat grease, maybe some meat, salt, water, greens. That's it. I wouldn't eat the collards, which pissed off SWMBO, because she worked her butt off cooking them today.
Collards went on the compost pile, I went to the grocery store, and now I have a simmering pot of turnip/mustard greens on the stove.
All is well again in Casa de Guyon. Except for the pissed-off significant other, who seems to be cooling down and playing with the children.
She did make me some more corn bread while I was gone to the grocery store, so all can't be lost.

Neck bones and bacon go in collard and mustard greens, And some fresh peppers and a little vinegar, salt and garlic powder and yummy yummy yummy!

I would of threw the recipe out when i read sugar lol
