Enrique Peña knives

Hello to all. Here is an image of two knives on progress. This is the first time I build something like this one. One is a double blade Panama Trapper and the other one is a single blade Panama Trapper. I will be leaving them ground finish. I will use green micarta on the single blade one and I have still to decide what to handle the double bladed knife with. What do you guys think would look nice on it. Maybe jigged bone, stag, micarta, jigged micarta or some stabalized ebony.

Enrique, That Brown jigged bone would
look nice on the 2 blade Panama Trapper!
You've been killing that jigged bone!
Or even another color! But jigged bone
would be awesome!! IMHO! And maybe
a nice Bar Shield? NICE!!

I'd say ebony but you can't go wrong with your own jigged bone or the gnarly stag stash of yours! Are they gonna be shadows or have bolsters?

I only have black micarta to jigg and the knife is only going to have front bolsters.

Helllo to all. Here is the double bladed Panama Trapper that I had posted a picture of the parts. It turn out to be a dandy. It is the first time that I build one of these and I fell in love with the pattern. I now think I want to make one just like it for me. The blade steel is CPM154, bolsters liners and shield are 410 stainless steel and the handle is my own jigged bone. It has a really smooth action, flush at the spine on all positions and it is really thight on the spine. Knife not for sale but can always make another one. And onece again thank you all for your previous comments.

Just bringing this image over from the other thread to keep this virtual repository of Enrique's work (somewhat) complete...

I've done a bunch of EP's works. VERY nicely made, as you know.

Here you go. Hot off the press.

Enrique, the Panama and Saddlehorn trappers are both fantastic. Thanks to you and Coop for the pictures.

One can ask for nice stag but the stag on this dogleg jack is simply gorgeous! Everything is flush on all positions and the action is very smooth. Even more gorgeous in the hand. This dog walks the walk. Thanks Enrique
