Very nice Jeff. Very clean and businesslike.
What blade steel will you be using?

Steven

We wanted something with clean lines and SIMPLE. Since we are just not into too many gadgets, bells and whistles (obvious from our fixed blade line). We just want a pocket folder with a good clip, good cutting efficiency and tough enough to do hard work if need be These protos are D2 but we're not sure what we will do on the final production. Also not sure on whether we leave them un-coated or do a PVD type coating.

Beautiful. Much as I hate waiting to get one, I'm glad you guys are taking the time to do it right.

Mike and I plan on using the prototypes for the next couple of months before we make any decision on production.

Jeff, now THAT is a good looking knife. I know one would be a welcome addition to the family.

Stunningly simple, yet awesome. Really hope these go into production soon.

I like the look of it. Like it better without the notch in the back of the blade. Liked the rotolock on the Moletta (sp?) that I handled at blade, but I understand the desire to simplify.

Man, I love that! If simple phillips head bolts can be used instead of torx etc I am all for that.

Gosh, maybe I should cancel my HEST folder order. They are terminally behind and unavailable to answer questions it seems.

I love it.Thanks for posting pics:thumbup:

I like the clip the way it is,so there's a little
bit of handle to grab.Don't much care for the low-rider clips.

Any chance of keeping the steel good ole ESEE 1095?:o

Looks really nice! Did you ever think of making some with an opening hole instead of a stud?

Paul

I think spyderco may have patented that.

I prefer the studs to open, and I really like the spike at the bottom in case you need to break glass. I hope you offer it both regular and serrated, I prefer a pocket knife to have serrations.

I love the look of it so far. I'm not going to be at the SHOT show so I'll have to wait until they're up for pre-sale, then I"ll buy one of each........man......I like being able to interact with the men who are behind this great company and get inside info like this........it is swaying my brand loyalty to ESEE from an ESEE/Becker tie

Why do you prefer phillips head? I've always found torx are harder to strip, and there's nothing worse than a stripped screw?.
