Look close at the photos. It is a 4-way clip.

Very nice Jeff. Quite a surprise as well I must confess.

Can't wait to see the protos at Shot.

Not sure what the cost difference would be. Since you are having Lionsteel make the knife, why not use sleipner steel?

From what I undestand from Jeff's previous posts, LionSteel is only making the prototypes

Very very nice. I love how simple it is and not a lot of gimmicks or unnecessary features. A knife is a knife, and that's all I need. Can't wait

Looks great! The only thing that deters me is that it doesn't have a bayonet clip like SOG knives have.
Also, wouldn't be ESEE if it wasn't coated!

In the "field" if you will normal screw drivers are easy to come by.

True enough, whenever I take apart my knife I'm comfy at home with my torx drivers. Would be neat if there was an optional set of philips head screws to replace the torx ones but it'd probably be too much trouble for a relatively small market.

Yep, I always liked my women plain and simple. Always ended up with freakin' crazy and complicated though.

my dad use to say, "you sure know how to pick them".......they played straight forward until you're 'with' them, then no holds barred..

like the folder, clean and serene..

good too see some info on these awesome knives. i think they look amazing, and
seem to be a great success already. please keep us posted on production date

Whats that pointy thing on the end ? Could it be a throwing spike lol

Not sure I understand the logic in having one company manufacture a proto type then get another company to make a knife they had no hand in the pervious proto type, the design or manufacture? If Lionsteel is not going to make it why waste there time in doing to proto? Not saying it won't happen but seems couter productive.

We have not said ANYTHING about production but having one company do protoypes and another do production is not illogical in this industry. Happens all the time. Ken Onion builds his own prototypes then the manufacturer does the production. What's the difference?

Wasting a manufacturers time? How would you know this. Would you not think a manufacturer wouldn't charge us for prototypes. It never ceases to amaze me how people can assume things around here.

We like Lion Steel's quality and production but we are a LONG WAY from deciding anything on production, so no sense in assuming anything about who *might* be doing production.

Well, regardless of this making it to production or not. I'm holding off all knife purchase plans until we get a little more info ;)

Good looking folder. I would like to see this with a micarta scale, rather than G-10. Thats one of the things that catches my eye on the hopefully soon to be made this year Izula folder. OOPs...sorry for the shameless Izula folder plug.

Oh, it will make it to production. That's for sure. Just not sure when. ;)

Maybe your right. Only time will tell.
