Nice job! It illustrates well how hard it can be to break a window.
Reminds me of a time, years ago, a guy had locked himself out of his BMW and flagged me down. I stopped and offered to call him a tow truck so they can try and unlock it for him. (There was no way I was risking scratching his "precious" POS. :jerkit
Well; apparently he was in a big-@ss rush and said "Just break out a window with a flashlight." I kind of laughed, pulled my old beater 6D cell out from behind the seat, and told him to have a ball.
He picked "the smallest" window; the one on the back door to the rear of the one that rolls down. I mentioned that it would be the hardest to break and all he said was "How hard can it be to break glass with a huge aluminum flashlight?" I just smiled and stepped back.
He swung that thing two handed, like some sort of an impaired, uncoordinated, softball player from hell. The thing weighs like a pound, with batteries, and he put so much effort into swinging the GD thing that he grunted mid-stroke. He hit small window square in the center of the pane but his limp-wristed grip allowed the tip of the maglite to bounce back and hit him right in the face.
It was the funniest sh!t I ever seen. He dropped the flashlight and grabbed his nose, which was now bleeding, and screamed almost like a woman. I just picked up the light and said "Hey.... you'll scratch it." (The thing is beat to hell.) Then I offered it up for another shot. He declined.
I felt bad for the guy so I went ahead and broke it out for him using a window punch I had in my bag.
