Speaking of Scoth, Vodka and Scnapps....I'll see yall later. It's Friday night!

Awesome. It is something I would really like to try. I posted this question in the WSS forum too. Before I give it a try I would really like to see some pictures. I have done some light reading on what kind of wood to use, but I have never seen it done and I am a visual learner.

thanks for the post:)

I've got some creation photos, but nothing final, of course. I've gotta dig around and find them. Think we've got some of the old stock left in the garage too, bout 16 years old...think it's dry enough? Might have to try and make another.

Glen Morangie, however the hell it is spelled, 10 years old. I am not footing the bill for anything more expensive than that. I'm an old Kraut, man, I have that Prussian thing going on, Wodka und Schnapps, bitte.

I'm of irish decent. If you leave a bottle of grape juice out overnight I'll drink it.

My Dad was German and Cree and my Mother was Irish and Cherokee and something else. I don't know if I should simply scalp people, invade The Sudetenland or eat something that has been boiled in a pot for 17 hours straight. :D

Someone mentioned going out for authentic Irish food one day. My father's comment was simply "there's a reason our ancestors came to America"

That said, I'll take a good stew or Shepard's pie anyday. And lets not forget the old seven course meal.... 6 pack of guinness and a potato!

Irish ancestry has to do with alcohol consumption?

Of course not. It's a stereotype. But stereotypes also exist because they tend to be accurate or shall we say...a grain of truth to them. That having been said, I like fried trout, collard greens and fried taters and onions. Black people call it "soul food." I like watermelon, too. Just country food when I was growing up.

No, but culture does. I grew up hanging around South Buffalo. There was a heavy culture there, and while there are many and deep aspects to it, drinking was definitely included in it.

Not all stereotypes are false, nor bad.

I grew up in a trailer park, you want to talk about stereotypes... There was not one black family in there and people would make fun of them because they ate "fried chicken and watermelon." WTF? Next weekend you would see the same people that were making fun of black people and they were eating watermelon and fried chicken.

I'll bring it back to the topic...

Looks like a great addition but only if its quality is the same as my RC-4....ie amazing... Though As mentioned before I would like to see a bit of a lager handle on the head, if for nothing else it could help with attaching to a stick.

now that is cool.. i'm definiately in for one of those..:)

as a traditional archer/bowhunter, i have always liked the idea of having a small gig/spear/arrowhead in a kit, as a last ditch tool... i have a TOPS harpoon that is a lot of fun to play with, but not nearly as small and compact as this.. i also have one of Centerfinger knives small PSK/harpoons... they're really cool and well done..Rob is a great guy...

Mike,

I started another thread in here with ideas on how to use them in other roles. I know you are going to come up with something good. :D
