I'm thinking we need to plan one for 2011 here on the farm. We will hire a band to set up for a mini-concert (i'm hooked up with several good bands), have some skills competitions (like who can drink a 16 ounce beer the fastest), competitive shooting competition, swap war stories and lies, find some crazy women to dance on a pole, etc. Now that would be my mind of a get-together instead of all of this hard-core survival bullshit.

I'm SO winning that! lol :D

Oh good LORD, you have us confused with someone else. There's nothing hardcore or survivalist about our get togethers. Unless you mean surviving a wicked hangover.

I guess Richard's ankle injury was a survival type situation, but once he climed into his air conditioned tent onto his double thick air mattress and had a few Shiners he was feeling much better.

And my food poisioning was pretty dire last campout but once I cried and puked myself to sleep in the truck the danger was over.

:D

Coming in the night before and flying out the night of the 26th OR the 27th would be great.

Cool. Let me try to come up with some flying moolah. Looks like it's going to cost right about $300. I should be able to come up with that.

I am so in for this.

Ok, let Mike, Katie, Tony and us discuss the details and dates and we will start advertising early. My thinking is there is no charge for the event. We will hire a band for one night, have numerous contests and giveaways during the weekend, do a quick nav course / survival course, drink a lot of beer and provide everyone with enough earth to pitch a tent on this 150 acres. So, all anyone has to bring is their own beer, tent, food and hookers and the rest is on us. Plenty of fresh water available. No shower facilities though. We will kidnap Pelton and put him on a plane to "the farm" also!

Something in AL close enough for me Ill come. Knives, strippers, guns. Im flexiable for all

Tx or Al - I'm game.
New Waverly is an 11 hour drive, Ft. Payne should only take 15 or so, still only a 1 day drive.
clothing optional? no problem - I, personally, will opt to wear clothing.
bang sticks? works for me.
contest to see who can slug back a Pabst the fastest? I can give that a shot, too.
a couple of classes - sounds good.
live music and pole dancing women, it only gets better sounding!

Sept will be in New Waverly.

Spring will be in Gallant, AL. We're working on details.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Fall 2011 since Spring is always way too busy for us.
