I understood that - I was just saying I'll do my best to get to both - although fall 2011 in Alabama doesn't sound like a bad thing, either.
 
Too bad there's a bit of water between TX and the netherlands, I'm almost tempted to book a flight and hop over to TX.

Spring in AL sounds great. Please post a date asap.
Hope you guys have fun in TX. Would love to drop in but have plans-recovering from a two day National MS Society bike ride.
I'm guessing that with strippers, clothing optional shooting events, and PBR drinking contests that it will not be a family friendly weekend?

AL will be in the fall. I personally am going to arrange childcare for my children. I know what it's like to be pulled in 10 different directions and could not sufficiently watch them so they wouldn't get hurt or get into trouble. That, however, is my own personal decision. As of this point we have not set an age restriction on the event but the planning is still in it's infancy.

Alabama I know I can do, it is actually not a bad drive to get to. Unfortunately this fall I know I am pretty booked and Texas is too damn far of a drive. Maybe when it gets a little closer I will see about freeing something up and catching a last minute flight. Definitely sounds like a good time.

And to Katies question earlieier, Kevin has ASSured me he will be there.

One quick question, Do we have to bring a tent or is a tent optional so I can have room in my car for extra beer?:D

I guess we can figure out the rest of the plans at Blade 2011.

Just thought I'd revive this older thread to be sure this is still on? Less than a month away now! I sure hope y'all ordered some cooler weather to be here in Sept, this heat drains my energy :)

I have purchased one of those battery-operated fans though, that really makes a difference keeping a bit of air flowing through the tent at night. Now if I can just keep those *()&(* ticks off of me this time!
