ESEE fest.........the aftermath

hey eric, she named the izula the mini-shank. i dont think she's named the ratpack knife yet.

is she still sleeping with that thing? - the way she kept petting it Saturday I was half expecting her to name it!

+10 on this!
the gifts were greatly appreciated, from the "official" loot to the "unofficial" ones that were floating around - like during the trade blanket session.
I'm very glad I had the chance to meet everyone who was there!

Katie - next time you run over that girl's cell phone, make sure she's still holding it, please? (and yes, the Springer family REALLY made me appreciate everyone in our group)

Damn am I jealous. The good thing about that outage and you guys going on that trip...it inspired me and my 2 best friends to start planning a Denver to Durango Colorado trail excursion over the course of 4 weeks. The board being down got us started...otherwise I would have just be sitting here trying to reload the site. :)

Great pics! That new lower will compliment that coconut bra CricketDave.

Wished Icould have made it but a friend and I had to go out to Pelton's but we did get some desrt time in while there:

Karen and I are flying back out to Pelton's on Friday to pick up this old '94 Toyota Warlord Land Cruiser and drive it back to Alabama.

Looks like you had a great time Jeff.....Looks like everyone had a pretty good weekend...isn't enjoying the outdoors what it is all about.....Drew

I agree. The more I'm outdoors the better!. It was cold, muddy and snowing part time in some of those CA mountains so it wasn't my kinda weather but we had a blast.

Looks awesome Jeff. New Toyota project? Big ESEE logo on each door? A Toyota with some stories to tell would be much more fitting for ESEE than a new Hummer that had never even seen gravel. :D

Pelton made me a deal in this old Land Cruiser that was too good to pass up. Got a lot of miles on it but it's clean and sound otherwise. So, instead of traliering it back Karen and I decided it would be a lot more fun to take our chances driving back across country in this thing.

That sounds like a good time in the making. on the purchase, it seems as though those things never die

I see them all the time in Third World hauling a shitload of people. They're true warlord vehicles since it seems every half-ass dictator or terrorist likes them as their main transportation!

I was reading some leftwing exploritory bs book once:D and those were optimal due to the fact you can get parts for them just about everywhere.
