ESEE fest

I just had an idea!!!!!I am gonna trap the hog and bring it alive....this way we can dispatch, and process on video during the fest for posting on forum......I love it when a plan comes together.......Drew

Just to be sure I'm heading to the right place :) is this the approximate location of the campgrounds y'all will be at? StubbleField Link

I have no idea what to bring for the communal dinner... would anyone object if I made a batch of brownies and brought them?

Now I've got to think up something for the trade blanket... Is there supposed to be an approximate value of things we put in there?
 
Trade blanket has no set price range ..... for example ,last years firesteels & Fresnel lens were exchanged.... you can offer anything... my wife walked away with a small cast iron skillet ..... anything odds & ends...

Looks like the right place to me!

I would not object to brownies! Last time Franki (TTD's wife) made brownies and they all got eaten.

As far as the trade blanket just bring anything you'd like to trade. Worse case scenerio you go home with what you came with.
 
Them there brownies were good to ask your kids..... Kaela had atleast 4-5..... I think I had just as many...

Yeah. I know. I found out there were brownies b/c kaela had them all over her face. Kids. They suck the life out of you and then don't share the good stuff! :grumpy:

I'll be making cupcakes or something for Kaela for Saturday night since Saturday is her 8th birthday!
 
What kind of activities do y'all have planned? Besides the obvious use-the-knife-to-cut-fuzz-sticks :) and cooking? I'm thinking I will bring my kayak and do a little fishing.
 
Jalapeno popcorn Saturday night? (don't get the smoke in your eyes - trust me on this)
 
I have no activities planned, I may do some fishing as well.....
since the camp out is small it more like a family reunion w/o the fighting :D
campfires & BS about knives.....
my favorite part is the Trade Blanket & getting to know the BF/ESEE folks :thumbup:
 
should I bring some firewood, or is the park OK with harvesting deadfall?
 
100% Bring firewood but harvesting deadfall wood is fine(I just called to verify) but I would not count on that alone...
