I'm hoping for the large. It will fit nicely in the pannier of my motorcycle with a nice kit for when I'm stuck out in BFE; which unfortunately happens all to often.

These are the Colombian-made packs, correct? If I recall, you'd said these were pretty limited quantities, since you all had decided to find an American producer? Any ballpark numbers for how many are going to be up for sale?

Just wait until you see the high dollar version of the fire kit that Tom and us are designing to be made sometime between now and the apocalypse.

Get the large and the small. Attach the small to one side of the large and then take a MOLLE-backed ESEE/SERE-5 and attach that to the other side of the large. :D
 
these are the packs like lost mountain iron works? like those ones? with the sheath in them? cuz holy sheesh if they are I gunna git sommme!
like the works pack kit?
 
No, not the original ones from LMIW. We redesigned the whole thing and made two packs. See the pictures on the ESEE web site. There were a few complaints and gliches with the original ones so we took users suggestions into account and came up with the new ones. And yes, these are the Colombian made ones. Quality is at LEAST as good as LMIW and better in some ways like heavy YKK zippers but we are arranging manufacture with a U.S. maker to improve delivery time. These last ones took 6 months to get stateside . Seems when we find good quality we can't get good delivery on makers so the next run will be made in a shop really close to me so I can stay on top of delivery.
