ESEE Packs

Just to add to Mike's post, we only have a few of these that will be for sale (and it took us forever to get these!). We plan to post up on the 25th of this month the day they will go up for sale. That way everyone has a fair chance at getting one. We are working this into our USA made schdeule though. Just not sure when we will get it done with all the other sewing projects we have going on.

Sweet. Thanks for the update guys.

I wonder if your website will be boggled down on the 25th then. I'd like to order them, but I might not be able too.

I might sound like a broken record, pricing would be good so I can plan out my personal finances for the next month. ha

Looking forward to these!

Wait, if they are stamped "Made in Idaho" I'm out! :D :D :D

Too bad the Columbian source y'all found just couldn't deliver them as quick as you would have liked, sounds like they did good on the quality though!

Oh man,....trying to find a company anywhere in the world that can do both quality and delivery is the holy grail. With these packs we have been fortunate to find the high quality and our friends who work in law enforcement south of the border use this guy a lot but he is literally accross the street from the U.S. Embassy in Bogata so they can walk over and take it off the wall and buy it. But they don't order if it isn't already made. Now I know why:)

Cool information, Mike.

Yeah, I've heard you guys stating that before.

I hope to get at least 1 pack. I would like to have the Laserna, Recovery, and the Pack kit to all be made in Columbia. Hopefully the packs won't sell out within -24hours. :(

I am hoping to snag a large & small before they sell out as well but again I miss alot b/c I "unplug" over the weekend

Same here, hopefully in OD.

Are these going to be available in the standard Black/OD/Khaki colors?

Yes. And there will be less than 30 large and 30 small for sale (all three colors.) If you miss out on this run be patient and I will push the U.S. made as fast as I can.

I want a large and small in OD, so all you other bastids back-off until my order is placed. :D

Mike, have you thought about a Peruvian manufacturer? Textiles are something they do very well in Peru, the Gamarra district in Lima is full of manufacturers that make top-notch stuff at very reasonable rates. As I am sure you are aware, there is a very active knock-off (bumba) industry in Peru, you can bring anything there to be copied and more often than not, the knock-off is better quality than the original! And with you and Jeff both being in Peru regularly this may be a viable option. Let me know if this interests you at all... (I know a guy!...and I'll be back there next month).

.

Rob, we are always interested in quality manufacturers but have given up on Latin America since nothing ever happens on time or as they say it will. About the only thing we're doing there now is running our jungle school but since we instruct it, all we really need from the Latins is their jungle, a boat and one of the guys. So, if we do something in Peru then that means you and your Peruvian wife have to go back down there and manage it. ;)

ain't that the truth! it would be difficult without a "man on the ground" in Lima.

being late is such a national problem in Peru that the government had a national "be on time day" ("la hora sin demora") a couple of years ago, while a great idea in theory, it certainly had absolutely zero lasting effect. Peruvians laughed it off. Viva el Peru, carajo!

I heard the keynote speaker was late at that very event!
