ESEE Packs

From what I understand, the United States has a pretty intense work ethic compared to Europe and South America.

I don't know about that. All I know is everything we have tried to do in Latin America, although excellent quality, plain sucks when it some to lead times, delivery and communciation.

Strong words there my friend!

I agree because most all the Europeans we deal with are head strong when it comes to doing a project and doing something on time. It's Latin America that screws us up. For example, I wished EVERY distributor we had was as quick to repond and accurate as you are in your dealings with the customer. Can't thank you enough for that.

This is a NO BULLSHIT statement of fact. :D

Anyone that dares me to go find the damned page and take a picture of it will owe me a H.E.S.T., bastards!

My Wife has a Spanish Language Textbook. It admonishes the reader to not expect speedy service, etc. because the people of Latin America like to enjoy life and they live it at a different pace than we do.

This book is from the late 70s or early 80s, believe it or not. :D

I'm pretty sure you owe me a HEST anyway, book or not, for that bet we made that time when we were doing that thing. You know what I'm talkin' about. Anyway, email me, I'll send you my addy.

You see, in South America they plan ahead. That way they don't have to do anything right now.

Hey, that's just their culture and I'm not saying it's wrong. In fact, we've been dealing with it and working around it for many years. The only thing I'm saying is we don't run our business that way and expect our vendors to comply with the way we run business if we are going to spend our $$ with that vendor. Otherwise we go somewhere else. The same with our customers. If we can't keep them happy they will go somehwere else. So, my culture should not interfere with making money when making money requires I please a boss (customer). If it does, the eventually i will not progress and lose all my customers becasue they went somehwere else. And we wonder why "Third World" stays Third World? ;)

Hey! I'm not condemning their culture! I would like to be able to talk my boss into a noon siesta. :D

You like that south of the border hard liquor, that ta-kill-ya. I like their food and I like their food with a nice, cold Corona, too.

The bottom line is, they can run their country/countries the way they want to, because it's their country/countries!

Moose, why you talking all gay? I owe you no H.E.S.T., I was talking about a Banana Republic Vest from the 1980s. :D

Yes, that's the angle I was leaning towards with my statement above. No offense intended to any Euro or SA brothers and sisters. Their "pace" is different from that of the US.

I'm not talking gay, that was code so no one would know why you owed me a HEST, but you done went and let the cat outta the bag.:grumpy::D

I will agree up to the point that they are taking my money for a product or service. Once they do that, then they have to produce to contract terms and conditions, regardless of their culture. Period.

Ok I know the last kits came with a knife and firestarter and such and a price. What does the large and small kit come with and what is the cost on them.

Even the pace in the US varies.... I moved to Raleigh for a year, from Buffalo. I swear to god it was like someone hit the brakes on my watch. Not knocking it, the slower pace was nice at times. But down there they don't do anything fast.

nope not yet. probably going to come with our Fire Kit so we have to put all that together.

Jeff & Mike,

I have a couple questions.

What items are going to be included with the small and large packs?
If you don't mind me taking an image from your website,
esee-pack.jpg

Will it come with all the pictured goodies? I don't think it will, but just making sure.
I'm sure the price would rise greatly if you included a knife, fire kit, etc.

Is there a time for the January 25th release date? i.e. 12:00 AM at night or 9:00 AM during the business morning.

Finally, pricing. I would like to know how much these cost, if I'm going to buy them in 24 hours.

Any help on the above questions? Thank you.

I don't get paid until the 31st, so it's okay with me if you don't start this until next week.......besides, you probably need to get all caught up from SHOT before you start selling them!

i really hope these are affordable and i really hope i can catch one when they become available. i think the set up looks really nice. i cant decide if i want a large or small.
