ESEE pictures and chat 👍🏻

Anyone have input on the PR4 vs the standard ESEE 4? Trying to decide between the two of them.
I personally didn't like the PR4 I mainly use my 3&4 for skinning and the pR4 didn't feel right to me. I sold it after a few months I think it was the scales, maybe liners would help out to fatten the grip. I'm not a bush crafter, it may excel at those tasks. I made a kydex sheath for pocket carry and I found with mine the black oxide rubbed off quickly. I just wasn't for me.

Yeah, they do break down with time, so it's always worth keeping an eye on the stock. So far I've not seen anyone manage anything with a sacrificial corrosion component, I guess the material is just too reactive for that.
As for the website, they are a small op, even to the point of struggling to ship outside of CONUS, but I've bought from them a couple of times, and their carbide strikers are worth their weight in gold. I've taught many kids how to get a cotton ball going, and a big part of that is just how good their carbides are.
I've been trying to decide between the Izula or candiru for a side knife to the Junglas. Thinking about the overall weight of the package/kit of the two together connected to the Junglas sheath.

I find the Izula much more versatile than the Candiru. The Candiru works but is very small.
Izula has the full flat grind and more handle that makes me grab it more than the Candiru.
Strapped to a Junglas you won't notice the weight difference I'd think.

I agree with everything you just said 👍🏻👍🏻

MolokaiRider MolokaiRider did your 6 arrive yet?
Yes sir, I finally got to play around with it today. I like it quite a bit! It's a nice size that makes it capable of bridging many roles.

I even purchased the pouch and added it to the sheath. Nice little kit!
