Dan.. How is this knife treating you??
Much use?? How do you like the steel??

I like it alot. I only use it skinning and cutting back straps out of larger game. The S35VN is easy to clean, which is important to me, and it still has its factory edge. I've used it most weekends (when I'm not on holidays 😂🤣) for the last 2 years. I can't see the edge dulling anytime in the near future. The g10 scales also clean up really nicely. Hygiene is important to me when it's meat to feed my family.
Buy one John, you need it 😁

ESEE knives are amazing users at a great price point imo. Hard to beat unless used around salt water a lot maybe. But I don’t live near any so 1095 is great for me.
I’ve used my Junglas and Izula pretty heavily in the coastal southeast and never had any issues. Just a fresh water rinse and some mineral oil at the end of the day.

I haven’t had my PR4 at the beach yet, but I’m curious if the black oxide will hold up as well as the powder coating to rust.

Teddy that makes perfect sense. I’ve never lived around salt water so I was only guessing more less. Good to know for sure. Thank you.

Very nice.

Your posts pushed me over the edge to purchase an 6, and I liked it so much I grabbed another.

Now the 3 is looking better and better.
Do it buy one 😂🤣 It really is a good knife perhaps even go for the S35VN because it's not a knife that gets beaten on.
