I've been carrying the Candiru lately and it's a very capable knife. Tonight I skinned and gutted quite a few English hares and set some traps around the place. I'm very pleased with its performance and didn't once think I needed anything bigger.

I guess the ESEE 3 HM would be easy to handle with gloves on. That's looks sooo cold mate. Do you have snow shoes? Or is that not a real thing?
It's 104°f here for the next three days.

We wear these Neos over boots over our hike shoes. Keeps our feet warm and bone dry.
25de to start and 32deg at the end. Was great just to get out and enjoy the day!! Sun shine to start but it disappeared!!
4-6 in of snow. No snowshoes yet. Keep threatening to get a pair but ain’t pulled the trigger yet!!
