ESEE pictures and chat πŸ‘πŸ»

I've got the TKC scales for the 4, 5, & 6. They are worth the price IMO.

I just learned that ESEE now puts a more contoured/ergonomic handle on at least some of its models (ESEE 6 included). How are these new factory handles comparing to the TKC ones? From the pictures they look quite similar.

Hi ESEE fans. (Me too). Can anyone tell me why the ESEE 5 is more money than the 6??
Thank You. πŸ‘πŸ€πŸ‘

........my guess (and guess alone) is that there is more work that goes into producing a five and it probably uses close to the same amount of steel as the six (thickness), combine this with what I am guessing (still guessing) is a lower demand for the five and it ends up costing more.

I have an S35VN 3 with the stock Esee g10 scales and the scales were slightly different than the TKC equivalent. All the sheaths were compatible between several stock 3 sheaths and an after market kydex. I can't speak to how the Esee 3d g10 scales performed as I swapped them out for the stock 3 micarta scales because that was the look I was after. They seemed like they would have been just fine. I would rather have the TKC scales though. Many colors and I just have more experience with them.

Just added the ESEE 6 to the stable.

Dan. I went back thru the 6 pages and will say that you have quite the collection. I think you need to post a family pic!! πŸ‘πŸ€”πŸ‘

Ha with short notice here is the ESEEs I have close by in a drawer. There's at least another five in bags, the ute and at my actual familys houses ready for short notice hunting trips. I find them to be a very useful knives. I Especially like the stainless varieties, great for skinning and meat harvest. My most carried is my desert tan IZULA. As well as my swiss army knives, ESEEs are my go-to knives.

Just thinking about it all the knives missing in the photo are 3s & 4s
