Yeah i like it, mine in the photo came with orange scales but I swapped them for these plain scales. I also found the green of any model model was always the cheapest for some reason.I didn't know if I would love the green coating, but I kinda love it in mine. It's functional yet fits the vibe of my ESEE 5.
In the 1st and the 8th photo is that a "Drip Line" hanging down from the hammock suspension line? We used them so during a rain storm, water would not run down the suspension line and into your hammock. JohnHad some time to go out today.
played a bit with tarp configs over my hammock and made lunch.
Brought the Esee 6, Firebox Nano, cast Iron skillet, bread, choriso and gingerroot (for tea)
Grim just chilled
First boiled some water for tea

Sliced the girgerroot

Sliced the sausages while my skillet was heating up, love that little pan

Don't forget to stir things
![]()
Sliced some bread when the sausage was done
![]()
And time to eat now
![]()
![]()
tasty and fun again

Grim was under the tarp the whole time
![]()
Time for him to run now![]()

One side really stripped the other side not so much though when playing with the angles and light the stripes magically appear. Just hard to catch it in photo.
That knife looks fantastic!Supervising the clean up crew.

It is a prusic knot with a clip on the end, used originally to attach the tarp/rainfly that comes with this Hennessy hammock to the suspensioncords over the hammock. In the 1st and the 8th photo is that a "Drip Line" hanging down from the hammock suspension line? I like how you always have some old, interesting whistle in the photo! John
Thanks mate, my wife doesn't listen when i tell her about whistles, so i like to show them off when i can. That 1913 Hudson saw action in the first world war. It has a great tone. Much to my wifes dismay my 8 year old son is taking an interest in whistles too, especially anything train related.I like how you always have some old, interesting whistle in the photo! John
