Grateful Grateful this is the rarest Hudson tube whistle i own.
That’s a really cool one. I assume the knife blade on a whistle is very rare. I’ve not been looking at old whistles long but haven’t seen one before. Still haven’t bought one but am hoping to find an old tube whistle I can buy for a decent price.

Nice AGK, it’s on my short list for 2026. It or an ESSEE 4, time will tell.

I personally prefer the ESEE-4 for what I do ie. Skinning and taking prime cuts of meat, which is funny seeing the AGK is designed as a hunting knife. The AGK has a great handle and is nice to hold. Its part of my collection and has only been used once to skin a roo. I skin at least one animal with all my fixed blade knives.
Ive been collecting whistles most of my life and ive seen pics in a book of the original 1905 Alfred DeCourcy designed tube whistle with a knife and read Hudson bought the rights off him to produce that whistle i own. I have seen one other like mine on a museum website. Just keep your eyes open cheap whistles come up now and then from sellers not knowing what they have... you just have to beat me too it 🤣😂
