Good news...... The laurel should be in bloom.......Bad news if you have pollen allergies---- honeysuckle, blackberry, laurel,etc, bring your antihistamine of choice.......

Hey MM.....

Bring a cup, knife, fork and spoon...... Paper plates and bowls will be provided...... River coffee will be on tap but, if you are squeamish about high fiber(think health food) coffee, by all means, bring a personal pot.......

This is a good time to suggest that if we get another frog strangler rain that the overheads at the shop are good emergency back-ups.....Sooooooo if ya got room throw in a cot....

Ps.... When rereading this post and, before someone picks this particular nit...... Bringing a cup, fork and spoon is a good idea but, if you forget a knife, I am reasonably certain that someone will be happy to loan you one....LOL...... Long time to live it down though.......LOL.......

The road to Murph's camp is now open....... Went foraging in the hallowed halls of commerce for Friday night dinner .....
Headed to Benton's for bacon in the morning........

Looks to be shaping up as a real good time.....

Update......

Just got a large and heavy goody box from someplace in Olean, NY....... Return address says KA something.....Oh, KA-BAR...Hmmmmmm...... I bet there are sharp things in it.........

On a slightly different note, I got a box from Jason containing a bunch of lovely Kydex to fit Beckers...... This kind of gesture is so uncommon in today's world and so typical of the denizens of this forum....... I am proud of my designs but, I get close to teary eyed when I get to thinking about what a great group of people have gathered here, with my knives as an excuse....... It really makes what I am doing a true pleasure........

Gonna leave early tomorrow morning from LA, a little south of New Orleans, so I should be there before dark tomorrow.

I will be heading up the lead element after I wake up looking to be there tomorrow around 5 gusty will be in towards dark. I'm not going to have the goodies like I did for fall but I will see if a can get some wound mangement stuff for everyone
