Ethan's Spring Gathering May 18,19,20

Scottish immigrants settled here. Quite a few, actually. There is a museum in Franklin Tn. called the Scottish Heritage Museum. Shows the influence of the Cherokee and Scottish in the area.

my folks on my dad's side are from TN originally....my Dad's grandpa moved to the Ozarks after the Civil War. I aint sure what county...have to ask my Dad about it.

I aint a Scot I dont think...but I got me some Irish in me, and we wore the kilts too. One of these days I wldnt mind having a UtiliKilt just for the hell of it.

I think you may mean Franklin NC... ;)

count me in

I was just down in your parts for the son in law's graduation 2 weeks ago. Just curious, are you active, retired or past military? There are several like myself that will be at the gathering that were military.

You, sir, are correct. I apologize for that slip up, Franklin Tn is a helluva lot further away than Franklin, NC. :D

Good catch, glad you got it.

Is there still room for me if I'm swinging? I'm not 100% sure I can come, I'm going to Chicago the week before, and Springfield the next month afterwards but I want to come if I can.

Just shy of four weeks away!!! Looking forward to this.

I think Ethan's is 4-5 hours from me, not sure exactly where it's at.

You going to be there the whole time Guyon?

Haven't settled on a time frame yet. I really like to avoid that whole Friday night drunk, Saturday morning hangover thing. :D
