Ethan's Spring Gathering May 18,19,20

There has been a menu change, and a slight variation to the request for campfire cooking class.

We will be having Ethan's Chili on Friday night now, which will include a class on campfire cooking by Ethan.

OH, and we best not let this slip down too far.

This is gonna be great, Ethan want us to bring anything in particular to help out?
 
Sounds good.... bout what time will class start on friday? Don't want to start off with tardy marks...

We eat at or around dark. Might wanna get ready for class to start about an hour before.

Hey moose, is it OK if I arrive late afternoon Thursday? If Not I'll camp somewhere thereabouts Thursday night and be there Friday
 
For the women present, I'm going to see if Mrs. T wants to have a class on cleaning gear, how to better please their men and STFU. I'll let you know what she says. :D
 
I'm bringing my wife now. Is there a workshop registration fee?
 
Okay. The class is off. I believe that is the final answer. This should heal before the gathering, so I'll be good to go on the chili.
 
Dang, The Misty already bailed on this one. Maybe another class in the fall Trade?
 
I suspect Mrs T informed him of the error of his thinking -- possibly with the offer of emphasizing her "point" of view with a BK5...

She opted to only attend the Fall Gathering this year so she could go to a Derby Convention in Ohio soon after. Where she has a limited amount of time off she has a bunch already being used just for her bouts.

Anybody that knows us knows this would be more of a suicide note than a post.....
 
Hey Everybody......

Figure a good two hours before dark........better yet about six pm....That way the chili flavours will meld nicely......If you want to get an idea of the recipe, it will be, Macleid's Rockcastle Chili in the Joy.......It always gets cooked a wee bit differently every time but that is the outline.......We should have a grand time.......We will be cooking several variations of Special Dave's Chestnut Mountain pork loins on saturday night.......Ver fine, ver fine indeed.......

I thought we would have a survival kit seminar sometime on saturday.so bring questions and kits......

We have been doing some improvements to Beckerhead Camp, so it should be easier to stumble to your hammocks late at night, and we have made more tent sites(dozer time) ......

i am really looking forward to this.......
