Thank you Will I guess I was pretty lucky to get this one. It is perfect in any aspect, the scales, the shield, the blades with such an elegant swedges and the extended back spring on the coping blade. But there are 3 things that for me make the knife so special. First, perfect w&t feels like custom made knife. Second, it is bare head! the rear bolster really bugged me on my talon and third the match strike pull on the main blade. Mike and GEC nailed it to the bottom with this knife :)

Adding to the Eureka "Photo Gallery"

GEC Snakewood single blade talon with oak leaf shield from 2016 run on the left. Curtin & Clark 2 blade on the right. It's from around 1890-1910 or so - I don't know the exact year.

These three Eureka Jacks are exceptional! Just amazing. The Curtin & Clark is in wonderful condition. Love the jigging, threading, and other details.

Brett: you're a lucky man to have that Champlin. A real Grail. Outstanding!

My Favorite edc knife.

After seeing reviews on youtube and hearing people praising this blade shape i gave the wharncliffe blade a try.

First i bought a viper , then a 92 talon in ebony , then a 92 in linen micarta.

The one i carry the most is the 92 in micarta.

Small knife useful and plenty of blade.

Actually the blade shape grips everything you are suppose to cut or slice.

Thin blade perfect slicer.

More comfortable than clip or spear blade im my opinion..

Haven't posted here in a while. Here's a look at my current collection of 92's.

People often talk about the difficulties that beset the organisation of the annual Forum Knife: polls, costing, bickering, funding, delivery etc and I'm sure these are complexities. But, I would be really happy to see a Club Knife based on the Eureka frame. It's so unusual and yet aesthetic, practical too, GEC have it on the books so no extra tooling or development costs. I'd personally like to see a single blade, long pull Spear, Gimp type shield as on the Galvanics, Barehead (of course!) Smooth Bone- Ivory coloured, all steel construction and why not GEC's fine 440c stainless for difference? I hear grail being whispered in my ear....:D:D;)

Regards, Will
