Ever disappointed in a knife?

The Cold Steel Ti Lite was little disappointing. after just a little bit of use I got lots of back and forward play. it is still strong and sharp but when I shake it it wobbles and it is annoying as hell!!!

My ESEE HEST. Not with the materials or execution, those were superb. But in the design. I thought it would be a great jack of all trades tough little knife. I've tried hard to like it, but it's just not doing it for me. Love ESEE though.

spyderco yojimbo 2, compression lock pinched my hand and the tip just looked so fragile that I couldn't even use it, sold it right after.

Gec montana work horse- blade was loose sent it in for repair and all they done was oil it and send it back. Sorry work if I must say so.

my benchmade 943 i finally got tonight after weeks of hassles and waiting from a local gun shop. i heard great things about this knife and it looked like the perfect knife for me. well, this shop didn't have it, but offered to order it for me and gave me a great price so i agreed. he said it would arrive in ten days, hopefully less tho. well, today was day 16 and i got tired of waiting so i demanded my money back (paid in full when he ordered it). they gave me the refund and for some reason gave me an attitude which i still can't figure out how I'M the bad guy, but whatever. i went to a different shop a few hours later and paid a bit more, but had it in hand finally. i loved it at first but the more i handled it the more i realized it is just way too small for me. it's beautiful in appearance and feels like its a quality knife, i'm just used to much larger, heavier knives. i thought a smaller knife would be a nice change, but i have a feeling it would scratch way to easily for my taste as well. so after all of that it's just a showpiece until i can find a trade for it.

Im sure its an alright knife but it doesn't get any carry time only because of the where its made.

I hear ya. However, according to some smart people on this site, Taiwan is good stuff.

I have a made in usa kabar usmc. From the factory the edge grind was awful! I convexed it, now she's sharp!

I picked up a buck vantage force pro and it came to me with marks all over the blade and the deployment was weird feeling. returned it for a zt0350.
