My Rajah 2 sure came wrapped in a paper sleeve saying not to do any of the things I ended up doing with it. :D

The warranty thing doesn't bug me, because anyone who has read many of my threads knows I void them almost immediately. ;)

I hope this thread doesn't get locked so that a few years from now we can post pictures of our $9.95 Cold Steel Defenestrater that we bought at the corner gas station (Had to dig through the plastic bucket to get to the last one at the bottom with the neon green Radical Zombie! scales) and tag some folks here with our 'Told ya so!' posts.

You have listed the rumors, not facts......True until proven otherwise? Is that the same as guilty until proven innocent? Is that the way this forum works now, to act as an inquisition with the accused left to defend himself against accusations? Nothing is true unless its already been proven as such....and nothing has....
If Mr. Thompson really sold the company and its jobs out from under his employees without warning, well that will be on him and he gets what he deserves. There can be no defense for such actions. If the facts show otherwise he should not be trashed on a public forum, especially on a major international forum that he has participated in and supported, and by his followers no less. Its amazing how willing his former supporters and CS fans have been to turn on him...... Until we find out whats actually going on we should really refrain from making judgments on what happened.
What have they really told us? Nothing yet...has there been a press release? Please post a link to it....if you can.....This all may be true, some of it may be true, maybe none of it is true. There is nothing official to prove either way. When the official releases and verified insider reports start coming we will know what is true and what isn't.

Yes, that sort of brand devaluation may very well happen unfortunately...or maybe it won't. We won't know for sure for some time yet ....and Monday morning is coming.
