Ever impressed with a inexpensive knife?

Mora 711, definitelly. For about 10.00 € (13.00 US $) it´s a great heavy duty knife.

And: (used) Glock Feldmesser 78 for about 18.00 €.

Kind regards

Opinel is a knife that outperforms it's price.

Kershaw Vapor as well.

Most of the Buck line.

I've never, actually, used the light... The knife though is pretty good. I don't expect much out of it so, maybe I'm impressed easily by it. No blade play, solid lockup and has a thin blade that takes a very sharp edge. It's small but it fits perfectly in my hand. Unfortunately, there are a few drawbacks. The torx screws are very soft and the liner lock is really stiff and takes a bit to get used to. I've also lost it a few times thanks to the camo print, but it looks cool. If your lookin' for a cheap Chinese 440a folder, its pretty good. For 20 bucks, I got a goofy light and a cheap knife that I don't care about and won't hesitate to use.

I love my Kershaw skyline and my Spyderco ambitious, both around 30. Recently I got a ka bar war sword for about 50. Came with black and green handles, and a little 3 inch knife for the inside pocket and a really nice sheath for the money. I stripped the coating, tiger striped the blade and put one green one black handle and a lanyard, now it is a pretty cool blade for 50 bucks. I'll post pics of it soon, it was my first mod/tiger striping:thumbup:

Cold Steel mini tuff lite, I really love that little thing. Only $30, it's a lot of knife for the price. Most cold steels aren't expensive, but I'm always impressed by them.

My 20 dollar Buck nobleman has been awesome. I don't know what they do with their heat treat, but this stuff has out performed many more expensive knives for me!! Love it.

PS, I just ordered that Ganzo. Can't wait to try it out!

The CRKT Drifter has left quite an impression on me. I especially find the frame lock version to be a stellar value for the money while the blade isn't made out of super steel the knife features excellent F&F and locks up pretty darn tight.

I thought they were all liner locks, got a link to a framelock version?

I agree with the Opinel, the Douk Douk has recently knocked some much more expensive knives out of my pocket. The Buck slipjoints are a fantastic value.

Just got a Spyderco native in s30v second hand on here for $40 shipped. So very impressed. I got one before in vg-10 for $30. These are awesome little knives.

Only problem with this knife is that the design is stolen, down to the last screw, and is a design done by a knife maker who even has his own forum here on Blade Forums (Mike Snody)...

I would agree - that IS literally the only problem with this knife.

And for 14$, that's a problem I can live with.

What do you consider inexpensive? But yeh, I really like my Meyerco Wharning. I like my Kabar TDI too.

Spyderco Gayle Bradley. Not really inexpensive but for a 140$ this knife even put other >400$ folders to shame. Just plain superb quality.
