  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Everyone's latest acquisitions!

In the past week or so I picked up these two.

Gerber Mark II 20th Anniversary Model - The truest reissue to the original Mark II. It was missing the box and a few bits of paperwork but it was a good price.

Walter Brend Model 2-8 - This is an older model with black blade and no serrations, thankfully. It has about a 7.75" blade with a very nice hollow grind to it. And the leather sheath is original. A grail knife at a very nice price.

The Architect Knives AK 4.5 Magnacut is my new all time favorite knife.

I lashed a leather patch to the front of the kydex sheath. The sheath is held between the outside of your pants and the inside of the belt. The knife is secure, high and out of the way, and tight against your body. Not real fashionable, but consider the source!

I come from the gun culture, where once you find something that works for you, you buy a second. I actually have three of these little guys, the third is S35VN. The size and weight are very well suited to Southern California, where we are not processing much wood!
