Everyone's latest acquisitions!

This little ZT0022 showed up the other day. I really like this little knife. It's well-made, has great ergos, and good materials, and just about disappears when you carry it. Just right for around the house or out on the town. Unfortunately, it's probably going to the factory for some fine-tuning. It's a bear to open! I've got several flippers and some came a little tight, but did end up being just right. I don't think this one is going to get there on its own.
Other than being a bear to open it would have been nice to have some kind of lanyard attachment. It would help keep a grip on this little bugger.

I thoroughly enjoy my copper scale version!

How does that work when I have two CF big pivot AD 20.5, two smooth Ti big pivot (clip point and sharks foot each) and this textured Ti AD 20.5 ??

Not enough to go around, and I'm actually fairly happy with the scales on these. But I do have O.G. Ti scales pre-ordered for my Microtech Stitch RAM-lock. Still need to install the Ritter RSK scales... [edit for auto corrupt)
Which finish do u prefer phresh or stoned on OG for Demko ad20?

The ones on MSI they are titanium in phresh finish from OG right.

(1) They called it "In The Buff". Here is the description on my receipt for the MSI scales above. m

"STOCKY GOAT - Wings - Aluminum Scales / In the Buff (Compatible with Microtech Standard Issue (MSI)) - Add Finger Jimping (+$5) / Right / Add a Lanyard Hole (+$10)"

(2) I also have an order for Stoned scales for my Stitch, described as "STOCKY GOAT - MM1 - Aluminum Scales (Compatible with Microtech Stitch) - Add Finger Jimping (+$5) / Add a Lanyard Hole (+$10)"
  • Add Finger Jimping (+$5)
  • Add a Lanyard Hole (+$10)
  • Finish: STONED
  • Pre-order info: PRE-ORDER: Expected Shipping Date - September 26, 2024
(2) I'm pretty sure "In the Buff" and "Phresh" are the same.

I bought one as a 'fifth pocket' carry. Absolutely difficult to open. I cut myself. User error. It's been sitting in its box ever since.

I believe in 'second chances' with people. Maybe, I should do the same with knives.

🤔

Those are neat looking little things, what makes them difficult to open? Stiff detent or what? Most ZT’s are pretty slick in my experience.

Nice MSI!

What's that on your plate?

[Or repost it under the appropriate thread title. Please.]

Just the salad bar portion of the Brazilian Churrasco meal (crab salad, pasta salad, mushrooms, crab sushi roll, melon) plus we had like 12 kinds of meat.

BACK ON TOPIC - STILL CARRYING the MSI & COMPARED side-by-side to some incoming Knives this weekend!

Nope - Aluminum. These are perfect for this particular knife. I got Ti for my Ritter RSK and mini RSK, but not installed yet. My Stitch scales pre-order is also Aluminum.
