I have a video of the MSI in action on YouTube (DocJekl) that might show off the finish better? Again, this is Aluminum and was called "In The Buff" at the time I ordered earlier this year. And not too shiny.

Those are neat looking little things, what makes them difficult to open? Stiff detent or what? Most ZT’s are pretty slick in my experience.

Actually, I don't know. A lot of variables. It has been frustrating. Especially the 'user error' variable.

I need to get it out of the box and try again.

And my ZT 0562TI is excellent. Maybe the variable of 'high expectations' visited me..

Nope - Aluminum. These are perfect for this particular knife. I got Ti for my Ritter RSK and mini RSK, but not installed yet. My Stitch scales pre-order is also Aluminum.

In titanium I think phresh finish looks a bit more shinier

Nice haul, but I dunnnnno… the Spydie looks more “snowdrift” white, while the Case looks more “classic Wedgwood teapot” white.

All I can say is WOW!!! I had a thousand ideas of what I wanted the finished product of these knives to look like when contracting with David for their build. I probably drove him nuts with my ideas for handles and all other ideas I had for options. One option for sure that I knew I wanted was "the extra grind thingy on the top of the spine by the tip" which David educated me of its terminology that it was called a Swedge. After constantly over-thinking my ideas I finally asked David to design the handles whatever way he wanted and surprise me - he agreed. Man-O-Man talk about an excellent request on my part! I couldn't have asked for a better looking pair of knives. David crafted Picaso-esque designs. Thank you DMC!!!

I've got a couple inbound from Josh, ( navman ), and I'm pretty excited. The 3.25" Sheepsfoot is S90V, and the 3.5" chisel ground "Tanto" is 4V.
It's been a real pleasure getting to know Josh as both a maker and a friend and I think these will be valued members of the inner circle.
