Woot Woot ! 🤪
Microtech Combat Troodon Gen3 👍🏻👊🏻
I had the previous Gen a year or so and this gen3 is so much better in every area. Wow it’s nice and slides in and out of the pocket so well with the new Ti clip and the action as always is phenomenal but without tearing up your thumb . So easy to actuate now with the perfect amount of tension.
Really loving everything about this one it’s still a beast but more of a well manicured one lol. Decided to go with a single edge this time and try out the new natural colored aluminum with the black DLC and the combo looks great in Person a long with the new engraved logo on the handle.
Time to go celebrate in the back yard with a cold beverage and use it to cut the tip of a cigar :) on this beautiful Sunny and middle 70 degree day.

This is the Protean from Prince Customs: this one should be on your radar, really good action with a ridiculously early defent, the construction and engineering are on par with both the Rosie and the Arius, the blade offers a little more length at just over 3 inches, there is really cool milling on the blade, this does come at the cost of slicing effectinvess but the edge is razor sharp and the knife really fills out the hand more so than the Rosie. It has a ‘built like a tank’ feel and comes in weighing only 3.5 ounces. Lefty EDC did a much better review on this than I can offer.IMG_6226.jpeg

New Boker TRPPR in CPM-MagnaCut, titanium, and black amboyna burl!

I’m a big fan of the Solingen made Bokers, so I could resist this guy. If the detent was a bit stronger, it would be nearly perfect. Great fit and finish. Great push-button action. The detent is a little weak for light switch flipping, but if you give it a little oomph, it fires well.

Overall, I’d say the price is a bit high, but it’s a phenomenal knife!

I took mine apart, bent the frame lock spring in, which made it better but not enough. Took it apart again and slightly expanded/deepened the detent divot with a small conical Drexel bit. Ever so little, but that did the trick. Still on the light side, but good enough to keep it.

Knife art Exclusive Large Inkosi Insingo 👍🏻
I already have a Large Inkosi Insingo with Micarta inlays. So almost went with a drop point on this one so I’d have a a different blade configuration kept going back and fourth. Finally decided to get the Insingo again 🤪 lol Just really like Insingo on the Inkosi to me it’s like bread and butter.
