Been trying to pair a Gen 1 Military 2 screw clip ATS-34 SE with a PE blade variation for YEARS but I've yet to even SEE (let alone buy) a Gen 1 Military ATS-34 with a PE blade.

However, I've seen a lot of the Gen 1 Military 2 screw clip CPM 440V SE blade variation, so I bought one (that I received today) in the hope that I'll finally find a Gen 1 Military 2 screw clip w/a PE blade in either ATS-34 or CPM 440VC so that I can finally match a pair (and then sell the other one).

In any event, this is the pair of Gen 1 Military 2 screw clip ATS-34 & CPM 440V SE variations that I now own, which look identical except for the etched markings on the blades which are barely discernable in the close up pics below:

Nice Starmates! I've always like those. And, like you, I love me some classic, vintage Spydercos.🍻
 
Picked up a couple of toys at Blade Show West when I was supposed to be hawking my wares. 😂 🤣

First an Pena custom. I didn't really intend on buying this, but Enrique gave me a price that was much too good to walk away from. It's an absolute dream of a knife! The swedge is just nuts!

Next is a Quiet Carry The Nines in Vanax steel, titanium, and Black Dunes Fatcarbon. I recently became a Fatcarbon dealer, so when I saw this, I just couldn't resist. Especially after experiencing the action!

And the star of the show (in my opinion) was this Tactile Knife Co/Oeser collaboration called the Ranger! It's a U.S. made (you heard that right) modern take on a higher-end traditional knife... And boy did they nail it!!! CPM-MagnaCut blade, Titanium covers, true Westinghouse crosscut canvas shield, halfstop, and about a seven or 8 pull. Fit and finish is out of this world! The price is the best part! Think like mid to low $300's! Should be out soon!

Oh! And because I'm constantly complaining about cutting sandpaper... A new utility blade from Javi Garcia! The Superlativ group is just awesome.
