Everyone's latest acquisitions!

So, I had a need. Just for grins, I wanted a virtually indestructible knife. Oh, and it also had to be a folding knife. I know, I know "A folder is just a knife that's already broken! They can't be virtually indestructible!"

Well, I disagree:

Hmmm? "Ti scales, nice! But still, S35Vn isn't that special!"

Admittedlt, that's true. Which is why this one isn't S35Vn:

It's so heavy and ridiculous, it's absolutely immediately in my top five collection, I LOVE this knife.
3V and Ti ! = close enough to indestructible for any tiny bit sane gargantua to use.
Yes I fell for the AD10 but for entirely different reasons.
Every once in a while I would glimpse a Spyderco Shaman @}< $250 and no matter how my better judgment would pull at my leash I would start looking at my knife budget.
I could care less about the thick blade I just wanted the full , contoured, sculpted handle with some texture on it. I finally told myself the AD10 could scratch the Shaman itch at half the price. If I bought a Shaman for $250 it would have to be M4 or 3V, half the blade thickness and tons of texture on the scales. (Maybe in Heaven).

First I bought the one in GFN handle (AUS 10A ) because it had more texture and two days later I ordered the G10 version (AUS 10A ) because the look of the smooth G10 looked so "professional" for lack of better term. I just had to poses it.

Great knives, the blades are not super stupid too thick, and I still spent less for both together than the Average price of one of my normal knife purchases.
No regrets.

Be careful or you'll put an eye out young man !
🙎😁

Today was a super swell mail day. Received some new Demko digicam scales to put on the first AD20s I got a couple weeks ago…. and another AD20s and a BM Fact from the Exchange also arrived.

I REALLY like my BM Fact.
The release on the Demco's is right where I want to put my thumb down so I don't "get" those.
I've been wrong about other knives though ; that once I got one I understood.

This is actually my second Fact. I traded or parlayed my previous one away, and missed having it. Couldn’t pass a good deal on one to refill that void.

I’m not new to Demko designs, but am to the Shark Lock. That said, I am really really enjoying the AD20s. I have had pretty much every lock type out there over my lifetime of collecting, and think it’s among the great ones. It’s intuitive for me to use, it’s undoubtedly strong, and the release isn’t at all obtrusive to me. Lock aside, overall, this model just feels great to me in hand, so much so I was compelled to get a second.

Thank you.
I'll keep that in mind. 👍

Also in my PO Box today were these 2 Spydies: 1) a MicroJimbo (C264GP) & 2) a Mule Team AEB-L (MT37P)

The MicroJimbo joins 2 variations of the standard Yojimbo 2 (Satin & Black S30V) and the AEB-L Mule joins 9 other Mules in my collection.

You can find more info & pics that I've posted regarding these knives in the the Spyderco sub-forum: here.
