Rex 121 Sage 5. Swapped the FRN scales for CF.

Thas the way I was going to go then I got bucks off on a black FRN to use as a donor and since I had no FRN like this and prefer aggressively textured scales ( I would have the G10 from the original Siren and BM Contego on most of my knives if I could ) I went black FRN.

I would MUCH rather look at yours though. Love my Gail Bradleys with these scales / do not understand the aversion some were expressing about these.

I mean, orange is OK to carry in October / Halloween month but I'm more of a black or dark blue handle guy the rest of the year.

I won't put up an image; we all know what the the basic Sages look like.
I will say for the last couple of days before leaving for work (which is about when our mail comes) I been sniffing around the box and whining until the last second before I'm late for work.

Then Lisa calls me to ask if I would like her to drop the package that arrived this afternoon to me at work since she was going that way. I had to work late / OT so that made my whole week!

Same - loved my Cypress V2 so had to get on the books for a Cedar. Got it a while back. They make great knives.

I made a mistake & bought this ZT 0560CBCF XXXX (Second), which I just received today.

The knife looks "correct" & there are no noticeable defects but I don't normally buy seconds & I don't normally buy a ZT w/o proper labeling on the box, which is what I did in this case.

My mistake was not reading the listing more carefully which fully disclosed that it was a second & showed that there was no bar code labeling on the box identifying the model of the knife.

Oh well, I got it for "good" price & it looks good paired with the standard 0560. So, I'll keep it until I can find non-XXXX version of it.

So, I had a need. Just for grins, I wanted a virtually indestructible knife. Oh, and it also had to be a folding knife. I know, I know "A folder is just a knife that's already broken! They can't be virtually indestructible!"

Well, I disagree:

Hmmm? "Ti scales, nice! But still, S35Vn isn't that special!"

Admittedlt, that's true. Which is why this one isn't S35Vn:

It's so heavy and ridiculous, it's absolutely immediately in my top five collection, I LOVE this knife.
