I lost my PM3LW in magnacut. And I know where but it's gone for good.

Replaced it with this ManixLW also in magnacut. I have become quite the Spyderco fan, and the magnacut just puts the knife at the top of the heap. I also wanted to try the ball bearing lock and like it - except the spring seems a bit on the strong side. Better that than weak I guess. So far, I like it a lot. Are you using the pinch method or trying to just use your thumb to move the lock?

I use the thumb and forefinger of my right hand. I expect a couple of months use will likely help. That or I'll be used to it by then.
There's no doubt that it's a stronger spring than on any of my axis locks. Not sure that's a bad thing.

Yes, much firmer (for the better IMO) than the Axis omega springs. Finger muscles seem to get stronger quicker than other muscles, it seems.
