Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Got a medium Curtiss F3 today. Loving it. The detent is about as good as I have. It is right up there with my Thorburn or Shirogorov's

I also picked up a Chris Reeve Large 21 Micarta Insingo. It is very nice but I am going to do a catch and release on this one. Just kind of into the flippers now. Much to my wife's dismay :-) thwack...thwack

This Mario Leao (MLL Knives) Nervæ was just finished up for me.
Normal bushcraft knives always feel small to me, plus I wanted something that I could also do light chopping with.
So this babe is 14" oal, 01 steel, sucupira scales. He's making the sheath for it now.

Baryonyx machete. I suppose a pic would be nice, but my photo-fu is weak since a recent hard-drive failure. It is a big beast of a thing, with a pretty decent leather sheath, typical of Condor, who makes it specially for Baryonyx. It looks just like the one shown on the Baryonyx site.

There is nothing on this knife that specifically ties it to Baryonyx, unless the stamped crocodile head on the blade has some significance that goes over my head. Nor does it say "Condor" on it anywhere. The "El Salvador" stamped on the other side looks just like every other blade I have seen from Condor.

Now I guess I'll go outside and cut some brush.

Some Cold Steel steak knives and an axe at their parking lot sale Saturday.
