My first auto knife, a Böker Plus Strike.
Played with it in a store today and for 40 € I just had to buy it.

The scales are the grippiest aluminum I have ever handled. Centering and play seem pretty good to me.

It opens with authority though probably not nearly the strongest opening automatic you can get.

It is rather heavy for a knife of its size but I kind of like that. Makes it feel pretty solid. The knife came pretty sharp out of the box.

The pocket clip is tip up/tip down reversible and does it's job but looks kind of ugly and cheap.

So far I am very happy with my purchase.

I am from Germany. Autos are legal to own here as long as the blade comes out of the side and isn't longer than 8.5 cm.

Well, I had a "re-acquisition" today of a knife that I forgot I even owned. I put it in a range bag the day I got it (years ago), and it's been there ever since. I repurposed the bag over the weekend and found this little guy tucked into a pocket. It's still a new knife, basically, and has never been used. You can kinda see the factory edge in my pic:
