Something is wrong, I didn't buy just one but two slipjoints?!
- Pohl Mike FourtyTwo (To carry something outside of work legally)
- Victorinox Explorer White Xmas Edition (Gift for my Mom)
- Budget Kitchen Knife (8" Chefs Knife, for my Stepdad)
And a Sharpmaker to see how I like it.

Santa Claus arrived earlier, today, in the mailbox my new purchase, this beautiful English knife (standard type 15) by Joseph Rodgers from Sheffield in Rosewood...

No pictures at current, but this week I've picked up a brand spanking mint condition Spyderco Mamba, a gorgeous Hinderer XM-18 in Bowie blade configuration, and...a third knife that I'm not going to talk about until I've got it in hand to see if it was worth me breaking one of my cardinal rules.

Pic for good measure:

(Pohl Force Mike FourtyTwo Hunter, 3.74 inch blade with Nitro-B, Slipjoint,.)

Really liking it, it's how I imagine a Hinderer Slippy would feel like, good ergos, thicker blade stock. Still getting used to the lack of a lock but alas at least I can carry it without worrying about the law. If anybody wants a bit of a review of it, I got some time over the holidays.

I was considering to finally get PM2/3 but something about the Lil’ Native spoke to me and I’m glad I got one. Very compact knife but sturdy as heck with the compression lock. I also wanted to try out the spyderedge and I quite like it. I like that they left generous portion of plain edge for possible finer tasks.
