  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Mailcall Monday! I made a friend over on IG and we did a trade and then he had a few things on the chopping block that I had to snap up!! I love all of these VERY much:

I get it, a French knife over a French-English dictionary. Nice touch. How do you like the #4 compared to the #6? I like my 6.

I only have a 2 and now this 4.
Wanted something small and inexpensive to leave in my desk at work. The 4 is large enough to be useful (I was going to get a 3!) but not intrusive or dangerous.
Might go larger, just to get the lock.

I love it, absolutely love it ! It's solid, NIB, purchased it from a friend of mine, collector from EU. One of the knives I've always wanted, now I got it along with the CS Gunsite Voyager Tanto, Kershaw Tilt and few others... Now I'm in a quest of looking for decent Microtech Whaleshark... :D

I'm still a fool for big, "jackassey" value knives.
Boker XXL Kalashnikov: D2, light stone wash, 4.7" blade, alum handle.

I usually wait for sales, but I figured this one might go fast. I think this is a Blade HQ exclusive/limited run like the awesome (looking) XL Skylines were. $59 seems reasonable.
No surprises except for the steel upgrade to D2, and wt (6.5 oz:eek:). It looks/performs like a typical Kalishnikov.
It has functional jimping, and a hole for a big, "jackassey" lanyard.
It is snappy despite being such a large auto. Fit and finish were excellent (for Boker).
The 2.75" pocket clip will poke into your hand if you 'hard use' it.
