Love the action, shape, obviously the lock. Don't mind the steel or the plastic material, however am very disappointed in the ergo's for my hand. For a knife that has this epic locking mechanism, I'll never be able to use it as a "hard use" as I planned. It's too skinny and short, wobbles around in my hand, hard to keep square when gripping down on it. I knew it was going to be skinnier, but you don't know how it feels in your hand till you get one.

'custom' Zieba
Supposedly only three made, but I'm thinking there will be more but I guess the Damasteel makes it unique.
I like what Zieba is doing and his messages (mememto mori), and I liked the skulls in the back spacer so I plunged.
It's a small knife, my smallest next to a SAK.
Review soon

I've been a fan of Hiroaki Ohta's slipjoints for decades and recently lucked into this carved and fluted 109 Wharncliffe pattern. I've seen a few of his knives in carved pearl or mammoth ivory over the years, but never anything this elaborate. It looks like something straight out of 19th Century Sheffield. My faithful old 109 in stag finally has a twin sibling.

This might be a bit “gimmicky” but I liked the lines right away. I’m also a sucker for smaller knives, and with a 2.75” blade this certainly fits the bill.

Initial thoughts: the action is outstanding, it’s extremely lightweight and the tritium is actually kinda cool. Made in Detroit, S35V and it glows in the dark. I’m diggin’ it.

These pics were hastily shot this evening. I hope to have some better shots and some “real world” feedback tomorrow. Really wish I had wiped it down a bit better, lol.
