Back to office has “forced” me to load up on 3” and under carry knives. Over the past few weeks I have received/ordered:

-LionSteel BnLaw in OliveWood/M390, beautiful piece, but both blades are very difficult to engage.
-EnZo Birk75 in Curly Birch/D2 Scadi…beautiful piece that functions flawlessly…ordered more
-EnZo Birk75 in Carbon Fiber/S30V, great value
-EnZo Birk75 in Desert Ironwood/S30V, beautiful wood and perfectly built
-Chris Reeve small Inkosi w Insigo blade in black micarta, in next week
-Spyderco PM3 blurpie in S110v, ugly color and too big top to bottom, but can cut lights out!

Add in a Spydie Pattadese (black g10/m390) to the shorty mix.

I'm really rather taken with the fixed one, and I could actually see myself reaching for it a lot. Feels really solid, and with the folding guard, it's safe enough to carry around.

Just helped a friend move today, and all my embarrassment evaporated in a puff of practicality.

Suggestions for my next art piece, though? My last thought was a Sebenza, but I dunno if that's where I am still.
