Wow that James Wayland is super nice! I've never looked seen James brand knives until I just looked it up because of your pic.James. Home. and a Seiko Retro (not new).

If you use the quote button, you can see the image. Just stumbled across this in another thread.PryMini Pro by Boker Plus. This is the first in a series of smaller fixed blades I'll be getting this year, to cover a hole in my knife collection. With a 2.36” blade it's a very small knife that punches far above its weight class and feels very robust as a hard use fixed EDC. It has excellent ergonomics for a knife this size, something that you tend to expect from knives designed by Jasper Voxnaes
Did you get rid of the scarab?Had the Scarab 2 for a couple days, but using it in public would likely cause a scene. So I finally got the titanium scales on the K390 wharncliffe Delica. I love it
Oh no way man. I absolutely love the Scarab 2. It kicked the DLC Combat Troodon Hellhound out of my pocket. Maybe if I work up the nerve to strip the DLC off of the pocket clip of the Hellhound I would feel less stressed carrying it, but I LOVE the Scarab 2. I understand why they are in such high demand. Its literally the big knife Ive been in search of since I got into knives. I just dont take it out in front of anyone. I carry 2 knives now LOL. I've got a mini-grip on the way that will go with my brass carry. Then I'll figure out which little knife to do some copper scales on since my PM2 is too big and heavy to carry as a second knife. These are necessities afterallDid you get rid of the scarab?
I just noticed that your "October knife" uses the proprietary pivot; while my "February knife" is using Torx..Olamic Wayfarer SheepsCliffe Stonewashed

.
Hard to say but both of mine were made in October 2021 and one has the proprietary and the other torx . I think it’s just a option for either one I’m guessing. When I went to there site a while ago it seemed most of them had proprietary so not sure if they switched back or just offer both. I like them both so I’m happy twiceI just noticed that your "October knife" uses the proprietary pivot; while my "February knife" is using Torx..
I wonder exactly when they made the switch?
Again it’s really hard to say but I wish they would of used a bigger torx size on the pivot. It seems very small and not very deep although I’m sure it will be fine. As far as looks I prefer the proprietary but that’s just personal preference and again I honestly love them bothMaybe they're just sort of mixing them in: until the older ones are used up?
How’s the Toor? Any complaints?A few recent acquisitions. The Toor is new, the rest just new to me.
