If I remember right, PF uses K110 (D2) for their non-damascus knives, and either an 8cr or 9cr blend for their damascus knives. Either way, their heat treat has been solid in my experience.... And the knives themselves punch WAY above their weight class. It's nice to see Civivi having some really tough competition.

I agree. The listing says “K110 Damascus,” which could be a mistake. Hence, I wrote “supposedly.” In any case, as you mentioned, they definitely punch above their weight. The action is way better than any knife I know at this price range.
